Each module in the LegoLincs Programme is now delivered as single 2-hour session, combining a skill-focused LEGO activity with embedded exploration of how these skills are applied in higher education and the workplace. Students will experience practical STEM challenges while actively developing and reflecting on transferable skills such as resilience, perseverance, planning, and teamwork. Students will need to take part in both modules to be enrolled on to the LLP.

The LegoLincs Programme is open to Year 9 students from under represented backgrounds including: Young carers, Children from armed forces families, Gypsy, Roma, Travellers, Estranged students, BAME, Care experienced and Free School Meals. Each module can be delivered to a maximum of 20 pupils. If you would like to book sessions for more than 20 pupils, multiple sessions can be booked in one day.

  • 2-hour practical session with up to 20 Year 9 pupils.
  • Delivered using LEGO Spike Prime kits to develop STEM skills through creative problem solving and teamwork.
  • Soft skills are woven into the activity, with guided reflection points and activities to help students recognise and apply these skills in future education and work contexts.
  • Encourages students to make direct links between hands-on problem solving and the skills needed for success in higher education and employment.
