LiNCHigher and The Inspirational Learning Group team up to create industry workshops

The partnership between LiNCHigher and The Inspirational Learning Group has created a comprehensive suite of video modules with accompanying worksheets and resources for young people to complete in classrooms across the county. Each of the resources focuses on a different industry linked to priority sectors and areas of focus within the local employment landscape of Lincolnshire.

The resources have been developed in partnership with organisations specialising in these areas of the Local Labour Market. LiNCHigher and The Inspirational Learning Group are grateful to all the employers and individuals who contributed to creating such a comprehensive suite of resources that will be utilised in schools by Lincolnshire's young people to help inspire them about the opportunities available on their doorstep.

One of the organisations supporting the creation and development of the resources was Butlin’s. This resource focuses on the local visitor economy and features in depth insight and interviews with several key members of the Skegness-based Butlin's team. In the module, members of the team speak about the opportunities in the industry as well as the skills, qualifications, and commitment required to thrive in one of the county’s priority employment sectors.

The aim of these new resources is to give Lincolnshire’s young people the opportunity to learn more about priority employment sectors and growth areas in the local labour market. With the contribution of significant employers like Butlin’s, young people can hear from a variety of people employed within the industry and hear about the exciting and varied careers that they could be pursuing when they enter the jobs market.
