LiNCHigher Presents: Creative Forces Day at Lincoln Bishop University February 2026
Mapping Out the Future: A Day of Inspiration at Lincoln Bishop University
This past Monday, February 9th, the LiNCHigher team as well as staff and student ambassadors hosted our latest Creative Forces Day for a group of ambitious Service Children at the scenic campus of Lincoln Bishop University for .
The goal? To turn "big dreams" into "real plans."
Visualising the Dream: Postcards & Roadmaps
We kicked off the morning with a dose of inspiration. Using our Creative Forces postcards, students were encouraged to look ahead and define what they want to be when they grow up. From heartfelt ambitions to bold career goals, the room was filled with creativity and motivational quotes that served as a reminder: your background as a Service Child is a strength, not a barrier.
But we didn’t stop at just dreaming. We followed this up with a Roadmap session. We know that the path to a career can often feel like a maze, so we worked with the students to identify the specific "next steps" they need to take. Breaking down big goals into manageable milestones helped the students see that their future is something they can actively build, step by step.
A Taste of Campus Life
We even managed to dodge the February drizzle! The clouds parted just in time for a campus tour. Walking the grounds of a university makes the idea of "Higher Education" feel real. It’s no longer just a building you drive past; it’s a library where you could study, a café where you could meet friends, and a future home.
The Inside Scoop: Q&A with the Experts
To wrap up the day, we held an engaging Student Life session. This was a "no-filter" opportunity for our students to grill the Lincoln Bishop Outreach team and the Student Ambassadors.
Hearing directly from current university students is invaluable. They shared the reality of balancing studies, making friends, and what it’s actually like to live on campus. The Q&A allowed our Service Children to ask the questions that mattered most to them, clearing up myths and replacing them with excitement for what’s to come.
What’s Next?
As we look back on a fantastic Monday, we want to thank the staff at Lincoln Bishop University and, most importantly, the students who brought such energy and focus to the day.
