On two occasions, LiNCHigher have taken the project on the road to reach even more students. In 2018 and 2019, the team commissioned an interactive mobile learning environment to tour schools and events across the county.

Equipped with tutors, IT equipment and the dedicated LiNChigher team, the LiNCHigher branded bus took to the road to showcase the benefits and realities of accessing higher education.

The tour was devised to address the issue that in Lincolnshire, young people are less likely to go into higher education than in other areas of the country despite similar GCSE results.

The LiNCHigher bus tour gave young people from all over the county the opportunity to participate in workshops and gave them the chance to explore the educational pathways available to them.

On both occasions, young people were able to enter competitions to win experience days in either industry or higher education.
